Winter Quarter:
Afrikan Black Coalition Conference (ABCC)
The Afrikan Black Coalition Conference is the gathering of Black students, scholars, and leaders from CSU and UC Universities across California and UNLV. This event provides a unique opportunity for us to engage in critical discussions, attend workshops, and connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about social justice and Black empowerment. During the conference, we delve into various aspects of Black identity, history, and culture, exploring topics such as racial justice, education, activism, and community empowerment. The workshops and panel discussions are led by renowned speakers and experts who bring their knowledge and experiences to enlighten and inspire us. Participating in the ABC Conference during Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend serves as a poignant reminder of the transformative power of activism and the enduring legacy of Dr. King. We honor his memory and continue his work by ending the weekend doing community service. Keep an eye on our website for updates and information regarding our annual trip to the Afrikan Black Coalition Conference. We encourage all our members to take advantage of this transformative opportunity, as it not only enriches our individual journeys but also strengthens our collective impact as a united Black community.
